Who we are

Credence Pharma Consulting Inc. is an independent pharmaceutical and life-sciences advisory firm based in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website and our correspondence, how we use it, and the rights you have over it.

This policy is written to meet the standards of Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and, where it applies to you, the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you contact us, request a consultation, or submit an enquiry, we collect the details you provide: your name, company, work email, phone number, the stage and nature of your program, and the content of your message.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the site we may collect standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type, pages viewed and referring source, through privacy-respecting analytics. We do not use this data to identify you personally.

How we use your information

We use the information you provide to respond to your enquiry, deliver and manage our services, and keep records of our engagements. We use technical data to operate, secure and improve the website.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Legal bases (GDPR)

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on your consent when you submit an enquiry, on our legitimate interest in operating and improving our business, and on our need to perform a contract where we are engaged to provide services.

Sharing and disclosure

We share personal information only with service providers who help us operate the business, such as email delivery and website hosting, and only to the extent they need it to perform their work. We may disclose information where the law requires it.

Data retention

We keep personal information only for as long as needed to fulfil the purposes described in this policy, to meet our legal and professional obligations, and to resolve disputes. When it is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

Your rights

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and you may withdraw consent to our use of it at any time. Where the GDPR applies, you also have rights to restrict or object to processing and to data portability.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at vdhall@credenceconsults.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, or, in the EU, with your local supervisory authority.

International transfers

We are based in Canada, and information you send us is processed here and by service providers that may operate in other countries. Where required, we put appropriate safeguards in place to protect it.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
